Lola Macanowicz is not only the founder of VIBE Centre – the Village of Islington Business Excellence Centre and the commercial property owner at this location, but she is also an established insurance advisor and certified financial planner.

Lola Macanowicz is not only the founder of VIBE Centre – the Village of Islington Business Excellence Centre and the commercial property owner at this location, but she is also an established insurance advisor and certified financial planner.

She has been an advisor with The Co-operators since 1985. Since her beginnings with The Co-operators, she has qualified for many regional and national awards. Lola attained her CFP, CLU, CHS and CIP in order to move her agency continuous forward and more importantly to provide the appropriate advice for her client’s insurance and financial needs.

Lola is active in her business community as the chair of The Village of Islington BIA Board of Directors. Being involved in the birth of all 25 murals in The Village of Islington is one of her proudest accomplishments.

It was this love of community and people that motivated her to create the VIBE Centre, a boutique business centre in the Village of Islington. Being a long established entrepreneur with a passion for helping others grow their business, the VIBE Centre is truly a labour of love, vision and community.

Whether it’s Habitat for Humanity, Walls of Hope, Mayor’s clean up day, or a trainer for her daughters hockey team, Lola is always eager to volunteer her time and skills where ever needed.
Fundraising and participating each year, since it’s beginning, in the Rexall One Walk to Conquer Cancer benefiting Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is another of one Lola’s passions. She and her husband, John, have 4 children, all of which keep her very active and on the run.

Lola believes the key to her success is…smile and treat people the way you would like to be treated.
